Access to film
Catch 33 believes in making filmmaking skills accessible to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who, of whatever age, would like to gain practical experience on film sets. We actively work with local film organisations such as South West Independent Film to educate and engage with anyone who has an interest in the field.
Nature on screen
Catch 33 believes that in our age of digital information overload, we can play a positive role in telling stories set in natural environments, which promote green experiences. We are engaged in reflecting this ethos behind the camera, and exploring environmentally friendly filming methods.
Our position on AI
Catch 33 believes in practical-first effects and that using AI on screen is to be deployed only in as a last resort, especially in instances where human craft can be deployed to produce a comparative, more humanistic effect.
We do not pass judgement on other filmmakers using AI and believe it is up to every individual to decide where they stand on the issue.
